This inconsistency needs to go. Of my own experienced, even if the 3rd talent of the M700 is great, you still need to find an elevated spot, so it's more situational than the ol' good M44 ;)Devil & Heel (not sure if it's working with the bonuses offered by gears or not like Sentry) - their duo of talents are great. What scenarios would you use the m700 or switch to the SVD in?Been using a bolt action m44 for ages and I like it, just got a first wave m1a with 169% headshot and perfect rolls, have to try it out.What is the difference between the different SVDs? I had shied away from them for a bit because their optimal range seemed so much lower than the other MMRs.M700 Carbon, Devil & Heel or Devil (if running DEADEYE with an SMG)I run a custom 44 on my deadeye with deadly prepared and unforgiving in the free slot and prefer it over my deadly prepared elevated m700. Recently switched to the Heel because of the higher dmg scaling than the SCARH and its have less recoil.MDR is an assualt rifle. Thus no insane headshot damage but a much larger ammo pool to play withHad a 285 m700 drop from weekly hvt today, gonna give it a tryDepends what build you are running really but the following are all good:Devil & Heel - it's Scar-H model exotic so it's DPS is very high but it also gets some crazy buffs. Anyone else agree?They seem almost useless considering the TTK is so fast.I'm loving the Kar98, you just have to aim for upper chest. I mean I’m not bitching but it’s crazy how often I hit people close range right in the chest and it’s a hit marker. Fairly depends on your feel with each of these weapons. I feel like they were designed with ground war in mind and that’s where they thrive.There’s literally no reason to use anything besides the m4. When you've stacked all the marks, you can switch to a bolt action and do crazy damage (so maybe think to run with a MDR and a bolt action rifle)Hunter's Faith - Bolt action is needed so either M700 carbon or the tactical M44.
I'd say it's the highest sustained DPS for non-DeadEYE builds by far.M700 Carbon - the best bolt action marksman rifle really, full mod slots and Elevated is a great talent. I've been in several situations where I landed my first shot with that marksman rifle and then got flinched to death by return fire while my AR opponent coped just fine. The kar98k is my favorite weapon but shoots way too slow and rarely a one shot kill. Just always think about your terrain and you can have it active 80%+ of the time. Sometimes people are head glitching me and I hit them and it’s a hit marker again. MDR is great because it's an Assault Rifle, SVD is great because of its stability, and Historian is great because of its own talent that reckt in PvE and sometimes led enemies out of cover. If you are going to need to put four into a target you might as well have the 30 or more rounds again that the M4 affords you. This works for both DeadEYE and Sentry builds if you want a bolt action and more burst damage.I've been using a SCARH for the same reason too with my DE build. You just need to get at least one of the 2 rifles with a great roll of talents and kill all you want to satisfy your urges :)Devil and Heel are great with sentry. It's better for things like stacking Sentry and in any other build where you want to reliably land headshots. I prefer Scar-H variants for DeadEYE PvE since you can spam body shots and get most of the DPS out of it.SVD - runner up is the SVD in the high rate of fire. One Fucking semi DMR? They're risk vs reward weapons but I like the extra mobility they grant when compared to snipers.Where’s the reward though?
