Began clear liquids Monday morning and mixed the first liter of MoviPrep and put it in the fridge. No cramping at all, no nausea. Just swallowed my second glass, the taste is not as bad as I feared and now waiting for lift off! For my hubby that is no problem - he can easily drink 6 pints (or more) in an evening, me, I get bloated with 3 soft drinks. I took sips of gatoraid in between the doses. •Remember - the goal of the prep is to get cleaned out. I used two packets of Crystal Light in each 32-ounce portion. I have read it and re-read it. I had my second colonoscopy just two weeks ago due to my bleeding hemorrhoids, hate the prep but the procedure is nothing (best nap I've had for a long time ). Apparently this happens to people who take pain medication on a regular basis. The prep schedule provided at the pre-colonoscopy visit is designed to have you finish the prep a certain time before the colonoscopy. Scoured the website for as much info as I could on the whole process and found lots of helpful information in lots of different sources, so wanted to give my blow by blow account in one spot to help those people (like me) that prefer to know everything!
I had no gas or any after effects from the colonscopy. I am dreading taking the Moviprep due to the quantities - 6 pints in an evening.
I am scheduled bright and early for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Place the straw well back on your tongue. So, they got enough info from the endoscopy, but I had to reschedule the colonoscopy. I can already hear myself thinking "Oh it wasn't that bad" like everyone else had posted before me, but at the time it is a bit sore and I wish I'd been a touch more prepared. Nothing crap, promise. NOTE: clear liquids (water, chicken broth, apple juice, white grape juice, white cranberry juice, light colored tea, 7-up, sprite, clear Gatorade or yellow Jello).

Drank lots of clear liquids, had multiple watery stools until 9 PM. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy two months ago, but they gave me Versed and fentanyl and I woke up in the middle of the endoscopy. Am having this tomorrow and was not looking forward to it. Since the body continues to produce bile even if you do not eat, this bile will color the liquid yellow. Nothing happened until 6 PM when I began having watery stools. Mixed the second liter of MoviPrep, put it in the fridge and went to bed. Added one teaspoon of lemonade powder to 8 oz of MoviPrep, poured it over ice and drank it through a straw. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this up! I was passing yellow fluids by the third trip to the bathroom. They even gave me gram crackers and orange juice in the recovery room. No cramping, no nausea, just lots of watery diarrhea. Tasted like salty lemonade with a bitter after taste. The second day dosing went without a hitch. My boyfriend went through the procedure twice, the last time using pills, which presented some problems for him. Started drinking the MoviPrep at 4 PM. I would definitely recommend Moviplex. •Wound care c/s for sacral decubitus. All the water you take in now will just help you flush it out more easily. But happy to report I had no symptoms, except for feeling a little cold after trips to the bathroom. The doctor will not be able to thoroughly examine the inside of your colon if there is any food, solid or liquid stool present. I had apprehension using the prep, fearing the side effects of nausea and cramping. Patience is the key, as is keeping yourself hydrated. Not great but not terrible either. Started first round of prep at 4:00. They gave me Fentanyl and Versed. It made my moviprep experience no big deal. After their procedure reading comments on this forum before my procedure I was hestitant but like I said I was presently surprised that I had no side effects from using Moviprep. I wrote this as it happened (for the moviprep part obviously) and having just had the procedure a couple of hours ago everything is still very fresh in my mind. This was a fantastic report; thank you. Clear bowel movements will not look like clear water.
